Desert Breeze Publishing's Rating System
Please note that our rating system is subjective, and the lines between categories can sometimes be unclear - especially between 'Warm' and 'Sensual' ratings. We do our best to provide the most appropriate rating. If you read a novel and disagree with our rating, please Email Customer Service and provide feedback.
Sweet - Novels with a 'Sweet' rating will have nothing more physical than some shared kisses. They may hold hands, embrace, enjoy limited displays of affection, but it goes no further. If there is physical intimacy, it is only implied.
Warm - Novels with a 'Warm' rating take things a little further. Kisses may be more heated, embraces may be more intense. Physical intimacy may or may not occur, but it 'goes to the door' and stops. No details.
Sensual - Sensual novels have a higher intensity of physical contact. Kisses are intense, physical contact more frequent and with highly charged sexuality and sensuality. If physical intimacy occurs in the novel, it will be described but not in extensive detail.
Intense - Our 'intense' novels will be highly charged with physical need, intense sensuality and more mature themes. However, scenes of physical intimacy will only be appropriate for the story and not gratuitous in any manner. Descriptions will be in more detail than the 'Sensual' rating, but always tasteful and never using terms common to erotica or erotic romance.
The current rating system is designed to grade sexual/adult content only. On the occassion that a novel may need additional caveats - such as strong language - a notation will be made on that specific book.
Ebooks are NOT transferrable
This is not a policy solely established and enforced by Desert Breeze Publishing, but as a purchaser of a book from an ebook publisher, it is a policy that the reader and purchaser must be aware of and adhere to. As the purchaser of an ebook, you cannot transfer, sell, share or give away the copy you purchase.
If you discover a website other than those specifically offered and contracted by Desert Breeze Publishing selling copies of our books, understand that these sites are no better than pirates or thieves. They are stealing the livelihood of authors when they sell unsactioned copies of their books. We would appreciate it if you contact us immediately so that we may take the appropriate actions.
These acts of honesty will not go unrewarded once proven.
Policies on Books given as gifts, giveaways or other promotional means
The same policy stands for books you may receive due to Desert Breeze Publishing promotional events, promotional events sponsored by our authors, sales via this site or any third party vendor, giveaways or through the purchase of a gift.
Ebooks are not transferrable, nor can they be sold, shared or given away under any circumstance.
