Biography of Petie McCarty

Petie is both nickname and pen name for Stephanie McCarty. Petie was born in Ft. Wayne Indiana, moved to central Florida at the age of four, and never left. She received a BS in Zoology from the University of Central Florida and has worked as an aquatic biologist for most of her career. She even spent two years surveying Florida lakes and streams by airboat. Petie is a member of Romance Writers of America and married her real-life Prince Charming -- husband Patrick. They are blessed with two girls, Lily and Sassy. One is an English Springer Spaniel and the other is a noisy Conure. You can guess which is which.
