Writing a bio about one's self is akin to walking naked into your 20th high school reunion. While I do love to tak about my writing, talking about me is well, rather boring.

I have been a freelance writer for a very long time. My work has appeared in national magazines, newsletters, blogs, webpages, and press releases. One of my favorite writing jobs is working as a scriptwriter for Circle of Seven Productions. They provide book trailers for authors! So I get lots of books and get to meet many of my favorite authors.

I have two almost perfect daughters, (so like their mom) and an amazingly handsome husband (who after reading this should feel obligated to fix dinner for a few weeks), a neurotic Eskimo dog who hates the cold and a pound puppy named Diesel, who will 'tinkle' at the slightest provocation.

Desert Breeze Publishing will publish my first novel, a romantic comedy, Baer Truth, in August of 2011. The book has cowboys, Indians, funny sidekicks and the most amazing setting this side of heaven, Wyoming.

During the day I leave my black boa and stilettos at home, don sensible shoes, intelligent looking eyeglasses and work as a mild-mannered librarian.
