Connie Chastain

Born in Georgia, Connie Chastain grew up a preacher's kid in Alabama, attended Alabama Christian College and married a Louisiana boy.

She is a former staff writer for The Florida Sun(renamed The Independent News), a newsweekly published in the 1990s by former Congressman Joe Scarborough, currently the star of 'Morning Joe' on MS-NBC.

"Read Cover to Cover, Never Bound by the Truth" said the little slogan in the top left corner of the cover. Chastain's articles were all nonfiction and ran the gamut from travel to current events and chemtrails to Bigfoot in Dixie.

Today, her writing encompasses southern and romantic fiction with a Christian overview. She resides with her husband of 30+ years in west Florida.
