How do YOU rate this book? Because she promised, Felicia Graham reluctantly takes the 68-day cruise around South America that her late husband bought her. Her dream of the close knit family she’s never experienced died with him. At 35 she’s young enough to marry again and have children but she’d have to take a chance on getting hurt.
As she boards, she meets Ramon Rich, who manages the chic Grille on the ship. Rejected by his college sweetheart as defective, he hides the secret of his sterility behind the façade of a love-‘em-and-leave-‘em guy. He wants a family, too, but thinks it’s not in his future.
But love finds a way for them both to achieve their dreams.

Backed by palm trees in tubs, a combo played a soft samba. White curtains edging the corners of the area fluttered in the breeze. Ramon steered her to a table near the rear where she slid into a banquette seat, and he joined her. And joined was the right word. His thigh was pressed against hers sending heat to the center of her body.
A sweet aroma rose from the bright flowers on the table. She picked up the bowl and raised it to her nose. "Delightful."
He leaned close to her and sniffed. "I like your scent better. Not as cloying, a hint of spice, cinnamon I think."
She was in trouble. He'd noticed her scent, and she did love an observant man. Well, love was too strong, but focused attention did push her buttons.
A waiter arrived with a menu.
"Unless there is something you want to try, I'll order." Ramon said.
And he didn't assume he knew best even if he did. She was a goner. But just for tonight. "You're the one with the expertise."
Ramon gave her a slow grin that promised proficiency of a different kind. She wasn't ready for that. Was she?
